What we make

AquaElectron is a logbook and analysis app for aquarium keepers. It records your tanks, livestock, water-parameter readings, maintenance tasks, expenses and a dated photo journal, and charts that history so you can see trends over time. It is a record-keeping tool: it does not provide veterinary or animal-health advice, and it is not a substitute for a test kit or professional judgement.

The app is available on Android through Google Play and on iPhone and iPad through the Apple App Store. See our updates page for release notes.

How we make money

We have exactly two revenue sources, and both are disclosed in our plan comparison:

We do not sell user data, we do not charge for the app itself, and there are no fees beyond the subscription price shown in the store at checkout.

Services we rely on

AquaElectron uses Supabase (authentication and database), Cloudflare (photo storage and delivery), Google (Google Sign-In and Google Play in-app purchases), Apple (Sign in with Apple and App Store in-app purchases), RevenueCat (subscription management), Google AdMob (advertising) and Google Firebase Crashlytics (crash reporting). This website additionally loads its fonts from Google Fonts and, subject to your cookie choice (off until you accept in the EEA, UK, Switzerland and Quebec), uses the Meta Pixel to measure our Facebook and Instagram ads. How each of these handles your data is described in our Privacy Policy.
